The Garden Grill at the Radisson in downtown Utica has a great Christmas Day buffet. My family has enjoyed eating there on Christmas for the past few years. The hours are fro 10 to 3 and rest assured there will something for everyone and terrific desserts! You can call for reservations at 797-7010.
Turning Stone Casino Resort

Denny's
Denny's Restaurants in Utica, Rome and Oneida will be open 24 hours on Christmas Day. A full menu will be available for travelers and families that just don't feel like making a big meal at home.
IHOP is an American breakfast institution and the French Road, New Hartford location will be open Christmas Day from 7 until 3 for those of you who will be on the road and needing a good meal to start your day. Their regular menu will be available.
East Dynasty Buffet
During her Supreme Court confirmation hearing Elena Kagan was asked where she had dinner on Christmas. She answered, "“You know, like all Jews, I was probably in a Chinese restaurant.” You don't have to be Jewish just hungry to dine at this restaurant in the New Hartford Shopping Center on Christmas Day.
