It's less than a week from Veteran's Day. The day we honor the men and women who have worn or are wearing the uniform and defend our freedom every day. A number of restaurants are saying thank you by offering free or discounted meals.

Applebee's - All Day

Veterans and Active Duty military members receive a free meal.

Denny’s - 5am-12pm

Active military and veterans receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam Breakfast at De
nny’s on Veterans Day. You must dine-in and show proof of military service.

Friendly’s - All Day

Veterans receive a free breakfast, lunch or dinner. Options include a Big-Two-Do meal or an All-American Burger. You must dine-in and show proof of military service.

Golden Corral - 5pm-9pm

Free meals and a beverages will be given to anyone who has ever served in the military or is on current active duty, including retirees, veterans, National Guard or Reserves. No identification is required.

Holland Farms - 5:30am-8pm

Veterans and active duty members will receive a free coffee and donut

IHOP - All Day

Veterans receive a free stack of Red, White & Blue pancakes. You must show proof of service. Not all locations are participating.

Little Caesar’s - 11am-2pm

Active and retired military receive a free pizza between on Veterans Day. Military members can choose between a free pizza and $5 Lunch Combo. Proof of military service is required. Not all locations are participating.

Olive Garden - All Day

Veterans can choose a free entrée from a special menu. Proof of military service is required.

Red Lobster

Active duty military, reserve, and military veterans can get a free appetizer or dessert on Monday, November 9 through Thursday, November 12, 2015. Must dine-in and show proof of military service.

Starbucks - All Day

Veterans, active duty members and their families receive a tall brewed coffee on Veteran's Day although not all locations are participating.

Tim Horton's - All Day

Veterans receive a free donut with proof of service on Veteran's Day.
