Rescue Mission Of Utica Served Up Thanksgiving Dinners
Since 1891, the Rescue Mission Of Utica has been there for those in need in the local community providing shelter, meals, help from addiction and spiritual guidance. And one of the most visible events of the year for the Mission is serving Thanksgiving Dinners. Many of your friends and neighbors volunteer each year to serve meals on the holiday at the Mission.

Here are details on yesterday’s Thanksgiving dinners served according to our sister station, WIBX:
“The Rescue Mission of Utica served nearly 1,200 meals at its Great Thanksgiving Banquet on Thursday.
150 volunteers helped serve 500 turkey dinners at the Mission’s dining facility.
Other volunteers prepared and delivered 680 meals throughout the greater Utica area.
Rev Bill Dodge says that’s 230 more than last year, with 75% of meal deliveries to new people.”
