Remsen Barn Festival This Weekend
September 22, 2012 10:00 AM One of the sure signs of autumn is the Remsen Barn Festival Of The Arts, and it’s this weekend. For two days, you have an opportunity to stroll down the main street in Remsen and check out booth after booth of crafts, unusual items and great food. I know a few people who actually start their Christmas shopping at the Remsen FOTA (not mentioning any names).
The FOTA takes place today, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., and there’s no admission charge.
Here’s parking information according to their website:
“CONVENIENT VISITOR PARKING
Again this year, paved visitor parking will be available. Please follow the signs on Route 12 to Pritchard Road and follow to paved parking lot at the North end of the Festival. We are utilizing the Remsen Central School’s parking areas. Parking in this lot is $3.00 and is directed by the members of the Remsen Volunteer Fire Company. It is a short and convenient walk from this parking directly into the festival.”
