The list of stores closing doors for Thanksgiving is starting to grow. Several companies will close this year, allowing employees time with their families. But one company is closed Thanksgiving Day AND Black Friday.

REI, a sporting goods store, will close all their stores and pay their employees to #OptOutside.

Jerry Stritzke, CEO says "We're a different kind of company—and while the rest of the world is fighting it out in the aisles, we’ll be spending our day a little differently. We’re choosing to opt outside, and want you to come with us."

REI may be the only company closing on Black Friday but they join the long list staying closed for Thanksgiving.
