Randy Travis Has Surgery After Being in Critical Condition With Heart Problems
Randy Travis is in critical condition at a Texas hospital after suffering heart problems. According to his publicist, Travis was recently diagnosed with a viral cardiomyopathy and he is suffering complications. Viral cardiomyopathy is a virus that weakens the heart. Travis was just starting to turn his life around after being arrested twice for drunk driving. He vowed to give up drinking in 2012, went to rehab in 2013, and just released a song with Joe Nicols, as a tribute to George Jones, called 'Tonight I'm Playing Possum.'
