Randy Travis’ Doctors Explain His Condition

Randy Travis' health seems to be improving after suffering from viral cardiomyopathy.  His two doctors released a statement and will continue to address the media as his condition changes. 

Dr Michael Mack, Medical Director of Cardiovascular disease at Baylor says after consulting with doctors when Travis was admitted Sunday to a Texas hospital, he realized Travis need a 'higher level of specialize care.'  Travis was 'transferred to heart hospital and since his transfer his condition has stabilized and he has shown signs of improvement.'

Before Travis was transferred to Baylor he had a mechanical pump implanted in his heart.

'On behalf of Mr Travis' family, friends and associates, we would like to express our extreme gratitude for the overwhelming affection and support that Mr Travis has received' Mack says.
