Randy Travis Concert in Watertown Cancelled as He Recovers From a Stroke
The Randy Travis concert Saturday, August 3rd at the Watertown Fairgrounds Arena, to benefit DPAO, has been cancelled due to health concerns. After suffering a stroke, Travis is under heavy sedation and is resting comfortably in a Texas hospital, but he is still in critical condition.
Travis was first admitted to the hospital Sunday, July 7th with viral cardiomyopathy, a disease that weakens the heart. He underwent surgery to have a heart pump implanted. Then doctors relieved pressure on his brain after he suffered a stroke late Wednesday night, July 10th.
The DPAO has booked country legend Charley Pride, who will perform Friday, August 30th. Tickets for the Charlie Pride concert are on sale now. Both reserved and general admission tickets are available by calling DPAO at 315-782-0044.

For the George Jones and Randy Travis ticket holders who want to attend the Charley Pride concert your ticket will be honored for that show.
