If you're a fan of sports, steak and rednecks, an upcoming Syracuse event will be sure to have you rolling with laughter.

On August 4th, starting at 2 p.m., Quaker Steak and Lube in Syracuse is hosting its fourth annual Syracuse Redneck Games at its Walters Road restaurant.

"Rednecks" have their chance to compete in ten events, including seed spitting, a cornhole tournament and dumpster diving. Winners of each event win a prize.

Katie Rapp, with Quaker Steak and Lube, says after the last event the grand prize will be awarded to the contestant "with the most spirit and the most wins throughout the day."

Once the games are over, people are encouraged to stay for live music and after party.
