Remember Draven Rodriguez from Schenectady? He was the high school student who wanted to use the laser photo featuring his cat in the yearbook. Despite the viral attention he received and his online petition, the school would not allow him to use the photo for his official yearbook photo. The good news is he and his cat, Mr. Bugglesworth, will still be featured in the yearbook and this time with a special guest.

Below is the new and improved photo that will have it's own special page in the yearbook.

The woman in the photo above is Schenectedy High School principal Diane Wilkinson with her chihuahua Vivienne. This is the photo that will appear in this year's yearbook. It will be used as a way to raise awareness for the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). Vincent Giordano is the photographer who took both the original photo and the one with the addition of principal Wilkinson.

According to BuzzFeed, Giordano says,

Diane and Draven were all laughs, they really enjoyed the photo session. Vivienne and Mr. Bigglesworth really broke the rules of cats and dogs and got along famously for a trouble free photo session!

I have to say, if I ever wanted to have a portrait done with my pet, I would definitely go and see Vincent. He did an excellent job.
