Power Line Down on Route 233 in Westmoreland

If the snow, sleet and freezing rain weren't causing enough problems with slippery road conditions this morning, a power line backed up traffic.

The power line came down across the road on Route 233 in Westmoreland between North Star Orchards and Seymour's Diner. A Birnie Bus almost slid into the ditch trying to avoid the downed line.

Crews were on scene to fix the problem and the area is now clear but roads are still snow covered and slippery.
