Help Send The Northern Community Knights To Disney

The Northern Community Knights cheer team is ready to hit the road and head out to Disney. They need your help Central New York.

This cheer team is the only level two cheer team in the region. This automatically qualifies them to cheer at the Disney exhibition this December. You can watch their competition on ESPN. However, the trip isn't cheap. It will cost approximately $20,000 for their flight down to and stay at Disney.

They are hosting various local fundraising events to help raise funds. A fall craft fair will be held on Saturday September 23rd from 10AM - 3PM at the Northern Community Pop Warner Field which is on Route 365 in Holland Patent.

Janine tells us that most of these girls have been cheering together for the last three years.

I am told that they are a coaches dream team! They support and encourage each other. The drive they have to be the best is unbelievable. There are girls that can do round-off back handspring tumbling combos that are self taught! It's hard to remember that these girls are only 7-9 years old!"
