Polly’s Embarrassing Moment While in A Dress and Heels [PHOTOS]

'You can dress her up but you can't take her out' isn't just a line, it's a fact. I'm a jeans, t-shirt and flip flops type of gal, so when you put me in a dress, nylons and high heels, disaster is just waiting to happen.

The annual Fur Ball to benefit Stevens Swan Humane Society is a black tie affair. Tadpole even donned a tux, another rare occurrence. He mingled with the crowd while I took pictures at the Utica train station, even climbing up on a ledge, in my dress and high heels to get a better angle.

I was so proud of myself for getting up and down off the ledge without any serious injuries. It wasn't until I was walking back down the stairs, bragging to myself, that my shoe caught on the edge of my dress and I fell.  Not just any fall. An epic fall. I'm so glad no one was around to witness it.  It hurt so bad, I needed a minute to regroup.  I did have enough sense to take a picture of the damage.  It doesn't look as bad as it felt.  I ripped my nylons, smeared my toe nail polish and have had trouble walking for days!

I've been in flip flops ever since Friday.
