Polly Ruins Christmas

You never know what you're going to get under our Christmas tree. We like to give unusual gifts and I may have had the best one yet, until I ruined it.

We've given plenty of different gifts over the years; toasters with CD's in each slot, a crock pot with a video game inside. But this year we had the best gift ever! Tad and I were looking so forward to seeing the look on our daughter's face when she opened it this year. I was so excited about it, I told her boyfriend. Since our house is small and my voice isn't, she overheard it. I don't know who is more disappointed; me or Tad.

I came home one day to find the toilet seat covered in duct tape. When I asked why, I was told "because it broke when I knelt on it."

So for Christmas I thought it would be funny to give her a new toilet seat. It would have been if I could learn to keep my voice down, or just keep things to myself.
