Police Searching for 90 Year-Old Woman After Homicide in Utica

UPDATE: The body of a female who police believe is the missing 90-year-old Utica woman has been found.

"Police located remains of a female which we believe are that of Katerine Aubain. Confirmative identification of both these remains and those located within the residence at 1147 Tilden Ave will be made by the Medical Examiner’s Office. Once that is complete, we will release all identifying information regarding the victims of this horrendous crime."

Police are looking for a missing 90-year-old woman after a suspicious death in Utica turns into a homicide investigation.

One person was found dead inside a home at 1147 Tilden Avenue Sunday night, January 6. Police are now searching for 90-year old Katerine Aubain, who was last seen at the residence and is believed to be in danger.

A person of interest is in custody and police do not believe there is any danger to the public.
