Plainfield Barn Fire Kills Over 30 Animals

Jane Stetson, the owner of a barn that caught fire in Plainfield, sadly reports that he lost about 30 animals.

These animals included cows and pigs. Stetson reported to WKTV that he put the animals in the barn shortly before the fire started, around 4:00 p.m.

The barn is leveled, and there's no word yet on a cause. Officials are looking into the cause of the fire. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family affected. A Go Fund Me Page has been started for the family.
