When people say kids don't have values nowadays, think again. Meet 6 year old Owen Jassak whose on a mission to raise $1000 for Sitrin's Stars And Stripes Run and Walk.

CNYHomepage reports Owen met Greg Reynolds (a veteran and amputee) during a Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Game. Ever since that day there seemed to be a close bond formed. That bond has grown to Owen wanting to participate in this years Sitrin's Stars and Stripes Rune and Walk. He's on a mission to raise money as well.

"As a mother you try to teach your children what a veteran is and what it's like to pay it forward and he truly understands what it is," says Cheryl Jassak, mother.

So whether it's raising money for a good cause, or remembering those who have given the ultimate sacrifice-- it's clear to see that this little six-year-old body is carrying a big heart full of love and giving."
