Julian Ross, the 9 year-old Oswego boy with terminal stage 4 cancer, has received get well messages from celebrities and pro athletes but the latest words of encouragement may be his favorite. All Julian wanted to do was see the new SpongeBob movie, but he's too sick to travel. So SpongeBob came to Julian. The cartoon character and all his friends sent Julian a special message.

SpongeBob Message

Julian not only got to hear the special message, he'll get to see the movie too. A non-profit organization in New York City that works to bring movies to sick children, is delivering the new SpongeBob film to Julian this weekend.

Julian has been battling Neuroblastoma, cancer of the adrenal gland for over three years. After 4 relapses, doctors told the family there was nothing more they could do. Julian is now at home in hospice care, surrounded by his friends and family.

Thousands of people from around the world have followed Julian’s journey on Facebook, sending their love, support and prayers. They've even donated thousand to his campaign to help the family cover medical costs and funeral expenses at GoFundMe.com/Juliansjoust.
