The Buffalo Zoo debuts their newest resident today, Kali an orphaned Polar Bear.  Kali was orphaned when her mother was killed by a hunter in the Port Lay area of Alaska.  Click to see a video of Kali playing with the zoo's other Polar Bear, Luna.

Kali arrived in Buffalo this past May and has been getting acclimated to her new surroundings as well as Luna.  Luna just went public this last March.  Both are part of The Buffalo Zoo's new, "Arctic Edge" a planned world class Polar Bear Exhibit.

Kali (pronounced Cully, the Inupiat name for Point Lay), a 65-pound cub, will join young female cub Luna where both cubs will benefit from each others company.
