Oneida County Public Market One of the Best in U.S. – AG Matters

As more and more Americans become health conscious, many are turning to natural and locally grown food.  Good thing for us we have one of the best public markets in the country.  A national website has chosen the Oneida County Public Market as one of the country's best.

The Daily Meal.com ranked the weekly farmer's market at Union Station in the top 101. One of the main criteria in choosing the markets was their connection with local food growers.

We think it is important that farmers markets make the most of what their region has to offer and support local farmers instead of shipping in items from larger producers.

The Oneida County Public Market was ranked 94th on the list because of their unique products and wide variety of vendors.

The market's summer season is in full swing, it runs from 9:00am to 1:00pm behind Union Station at the REA wing. The season runs through October 31.
