Many of us take a nap now and then, and a new study has the facts. According to a recent Pew Research Center Study reported on Asylum.com, 34 percent of Americans admitted that they took a nap during the past 24 hours.

Men under age 50  are more likely to take a nap than women, however men and women over 50 generally nap equally. Napping increases when we hit age 80, as you would expect.

As for me, even when I did an early morning radio show like Matt and Pollywog,   a.m., I never took a nap and still don't. I feel like I should be doing something other than sleeping.

I do daydream, though, especially during the dog days of summer.
