We are in the early stages of the “Frog Days of Winter”, and so far, not too bad. So, where do we go from here, weatherwise? Let’s take a look at the Old Farmer’s Almanac for preview of coming winter attractions.

According to the almanac for our region: the average temperature for January will be 28 degrees, four degrees warmer than normal. Jan. 5 – 7, sunny and mild; Jan. 8 – 12, snow showers and cold; Jan 13 – 17, sunny and mild; Jan. 18 – 23, snowstorm and then lake snows, cold; Jan. 24 – 31, snowstorm, then lake snows and very cold.

We’ll  see if these predictions match up to our Big Frog 104 Frogcasts.
