Places all over country are "going pink" for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This police department in Western New York has taken "going pink" to a whole new level.

Whether it's businesses and organizations having their employees wear pink, the NFL having players, coaches, and officials wearing pink game apparel, or fountains turning pink (like at Sangertown Mall), everyone is going pink this month to bring awareness to breast cancer.

A few days ago, a Wisconsin Police Department decided to wear pink badges in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Gates Police Department in Western New York is also showing their support, but in a unique way.

Check out the Facebook Post from the GATES Police Department:

(And don't forget to look through all the pictures included in the Facebook Post above). We love the pink decals on the police car, and the fact that "POLICE - Town of Gates" is written in pink. What a way for a police department to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and honor one of their own.

"What can you do to raise awareness?"
