November – Fall Back And Get Ready For Holidays
November 1, 2012 10:10 AM Can you believe it’s November already? At Big Frog 104, we like to look ahead at the events coming our way in a brand new month, and November is brimming with them. And, now people get serious about holiday shopping.
Let’s take a look at some of what November has to offer:
Nov. 1 (Tonight) – CMA Awards
Nov. 1 (Tonight) Townsquare Media’s “Taste Of Home Cooking School” at Turning Stone Resort and Casino
Nov. 3/4 – Time Change – We “fall back” and set the clocks back an hour late Saturday night/early Sunday morning and begin Standard Time.
Nov. 6, Tuesday – Election Day
Nov. 7, Wednesday – My sister’s birthday (I just don’t want to forget).
Nov. 11, Sunday – Veterans’ Day/Remembance Day Observed in Canada
Nov. 12, Monday – Veterans’ Day observed
Nov. 22, Thursday – Thanksgiving Day
Nov. 22, Thursday – Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Nov. 23, Friday – “Black Friday” , official start of Christmas shopping & busiest shopping day of the year
And of course all of those other important dates in your life like birthdays, anniverseries, and many high school reunions during Thanksgiving Weekend! And let’s not forget football, football, football!
