No Friday Night Racing At Vernon Downs This Week

There will be harness racing this weekend at Vernon Downs, but not on Friday night.  According to a press release, the cancellation is due to a shortage of horses.  However, racing is scheduled for Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at the racino.

Racing at the track kicked off last weekend.  However, Jeff Gural of the American racing Association says because it is still early in the season, there are not enough entries to support 3 days of racing.

For this weekend, post time on Saturday is 6:45 pm, and on Sunday racing begins at 1:05 pm.  For more on the upcoming season or harness racing you can visit vernondowns.com.
