If your young ones are so in love with Paw Patrol, they chose the Marshall Costume from Paw Patrol for their Halloween costume, take note. The U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for the PAW PATROL Deluxe Marshall Hat sold with an accessory flashlight. Reports in the U.S. and Canada indicate the flashlight could overheat.  Here's what you need to know.

The hats are red with a yellow ribbon, black and white spotted dog ears with a black flashlight that is attached to the hat. They were sold at Spirit Halloween stores between September 2015 and November 2017. There is an SKU number and date code on the label under the ears on the hat.  Look for these numbers:

SKU 01292093 and date codes 1703RY01, 1603RY01, and 1503RY01

If you have the codes, 1st, remove the flashlight batteries and dispose of the flashlight. Then take a picture of the label with the numbers and contact Spirit Halloween. Call 866-586-0155 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET Monday through Friday. You can also email: GuestServices@spirithalloween.com or online at Spirit Halloween.com  and click on product recall.
