In Trumansburg, NY, you'll find Taughannock Falls - the tallest, single drop waterfalls east of the Rockies. In Winter, you'll find them frozen over.

John Kucko is a photographer who made his way to the falls to get some video in the sub-zero temperatures.

What he caught is as beautiful as it is awesome. All 215 feet of Taughannock Falls is almost completely frozen over!

How crazy is that?  It reminds me of trekking to Fox's Falls in Ilion a few years back during the winter. I didn't expect to find the falls frozen, but there it was.

There's something about seeing something as powerful as a waterfall stopped in its tracks by the weather that can really make you appreciate the raw power of nature.
