NFL Most Expensive Spectator Sport

Going to an NFL game ain’t cheap. The days of “Joe 6-Pack” and the family taking in more than a game or two per season are long gone as the price of attending an NFL game continues to rise making pro football the most expensive spectator sport. ESPN reports the most expensive ticket price belongs to the New York Jets with an average cost of $117.94. But the expense doesn’t end with the purchase of a ticket.
The average cost to bring a family to the game and buy four regular tickets (not suite or club), two beers, four hot dogs, parking, program and two adult size hats is $443.93, up 3.9 percent from last year.
