News For Local Dairy Farmers
At Big Frog 104, we always share news that affects farmers in central New York. If you’re a dairy farmer, there’s an event coming up on March 5th that you may want to attend.

According to the Cornell Cooperative Extension Of Oneida County :
“The 2013 Pro-Dairy Winter Dairy Management program offers practical and timely information to help local dairy producers take advantage of this growing market. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County located at 121 Second St. Oriskany, will host this one day event on Tuesday, March 5th 2013 from 9:30am – 2:00pm. Cost to participate is $35.00 per person, and $25.00 per additional person from same farm. Cost includes all materials and a good lunch.
Early reservations are greatly appreciated; please call 736-3394 ext. 132. for further questions or to reserve your seat. Topics to be discussed include profitable reproduction programs, monitoring forage quality, optimizing cow comfort, and much more.
