A water park in the Catskills is facing backlash after a casting call was posted for "well-groomed Caucasian families."

The casting call was posted on the Hudson Valley Film and TV Prodcution Employment's Facebook page for Zoom Flume Water Park.

A representative from Zoom Flume responded to a few comments on their own Facebook page. "Zoom Flume did not create this post, and has nothing to do with the wording and language used in it. We sincerely hope that company's post doesn't affect your view on Zoom Flume, and you and your family continue to visit in the future."

The water park owner, Denise Kerrigan told the Times Union, the planned casting call was canceled and the company, Cocca Casting was fired. "I totally disavow that post. We had absolutely nothing to do with it."

Zoom Flume Water Park is located in East Durham, south of Albany.
