If you've been to the New York State Fair, you may be part of a record breaking crowd.

Sunday, the record for daily attendance was 123,206 people, beating the previous record, 122,870, set on the final day of the 2014 Fair.

"The Great New York State Fair is one of our state's best attractions, and this new record shows our investments to attract even more people to the fair are paying off," Governor Andrew Cuomo said. "With new facilities, attractions and excitement underway, we will continue to work to bring more people to the fairgrounds and support the Central New York economy."

More than 430,000 people have been to the fair so far this year. Last year set the all-time attendance record of 1.12 million people along with three daily attendance records. This year could top that.

If you haven't gone yet, there's still time. The New York State Fair runs through September 4th.
