New York List Of Banned Personalized License Plates

Here in New York, if you want to pay extra, you can have a personalized license plate. Of course those 8 letters/numbers have to be approved first. There is a banned list of words you CANT put on your car.

Thanks to The Freedom of Information Law, anyone is capable of contacting a government agency and requesting information on certain topics. Someone decided to contact the DMV, and ask for a banned list of license plates.

Surprisingly, we have over 700 banned license plate ideas in New York. Of course there are items on the list that include swear words, but there are some bizarre words that made the list:

NOYUDEN

OMYGOD

VOMIT

PVERT

NONE
