A New York husband and wife house flipping team are going national. Chris and Lorissa Naugle will host a new series on HGTV.

The Naugles, who have been flipping houses in Buffalo for years, will star in 'Risky Builders,' but that wasn't the original name. "The original name was Building Buffalo and when it went to the green light meeting with HGTV they felt it was too much of a regional name and they wanted national appeal," says Naugle. "Risky Building is a spin-off of the 80s movie Risky Business and we absolutely love it."

It's like nothing you've ever seen on HGTV

The debut episode airs February 18th after what Naugle calls "three years of hard work and dedication and not accepting no." But their show will have an interesting spin. "I don't want to give it away but if you like Flip or Flop and then you throw a little bit of a wild snowboarder side and our one other character Blair Russin in it, it's like nothing you've ever seen on HGTV."

Sunday's 'Risky Builders' pilot is just the start of what Naugle hopes can turn into a series for years to come. "We have a contract that if we get the ratings for the pilot we will go on to do another 11 episodes. We actually have extensions that will take us into 3 seasons."

Making their TV debut has both the Naugle's feeling a mix of emotions. "We're excited. We're nervous. We've been waiting for it for three years and now it's actually reality. When we saw it hit TV Guide, we didn't even know what to think."

You can see 'Risky Builders' on HGTV Sunday, February 18th at 2pm.  Or check out more amazing home transformations Chris and Lorissa have completed on Facebook.
