The flag flies again at the Arlington Fire Department. Fire commissioners came to a compromise after firefighter were ordered to remove the flags from their trucks, causing national outcry. The department can now fly ONE flag on ONE truck, but many still aren't happy with the decision.

A rally was held in Poughkeepsie over the weekend supporting the Arlington Fire Department and encouraging commissioners to allow ALL flags to fly on ALL trucks.

The FDNY all showed their support over the weekend for the Arlington Fire Department by flying the flag. Fire Chief John McGee tells Fox & Friends "Firefighters always fly a flag to show patriotism. I believe flying this flag is a great thing for this country to show who we are and what we're about. We're goign to fly that flag loud and proud, driving it everywhere and letting everybody know we're not taking our flags off our trucks."

Stuyvesant Fire Department stands behind their fellow firefighters in Arlington. "Aach piece of our apparatus will display an American Flag on the back. While the men and women of the Arlington Fire District now are allowed to have a single flag on one fire engine we stand behind the members and their union and believe ALL apparatus should be aloud to display a flag."

Rhinebeck Fire Department also supports the right to fly the American flag. "We are fortunate to have the full support of the Village of Rhinebeck Board of Trustees on this. We are proud to support the members of the Arlington Fire District."

Last week the Hughsonville Fire Department stood by their brothers. "Never apologize for being patriotic."
