New Year’s Resolutions 2013

Every year millions of Americans make their New Year’s resolutions, some that are kept, many more that are lost to reality by, say, February 1. The key to successful New Year’s resolution is, of course, to keep them within the realm of possibility. Unrealistic resolutions or goals are not only difficult to keep but result in a sense of failure if broken. Here are a few of the most common ones.
Drink Less Alcohol
Eat Healthy Food
Get a Better Education
Get a Better Job
Get Fit
Lose Weight
Manage Debt
Manage Stress
Quit Smoking
Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle
Save Money
Take a Trip
Volunteer to Help Others
Within each of these general resolutions must lie a plan of action. Going to resolve to lose weight? Give it time and don’t have unrealistic expectations. Save money? Work with your budget to see where you can cut costs. Get fit? Join a gym or take classes that ease you in to a fitness routine. Good luck with your resolutions in 2013!
