New Fitness Programs For Women Gaining Popularity
I’m not exactly a gym “rat” but I do work out 3-4 times a week which gives me certain insights. One thing I have noticed is that there are far more over 30 men working out than over 30 women. One reason may be that more and more women are forgoing the traditional workout regimens in lieu of new, innovative fitness programs.Some of the more popular new programs include Zumba, pole fitness (as opposed to pole dancing–sorry guys) and belly dancing. Since these programs target women and can either be practiced at home or in classes they may appeal to those whose comfort zone doesn’t include sweating and exercising in spandex outfits in front of the fellas.
