New Electronics Recycling Rules In Rome

What do you do with that old computer monitor, TV or printer? The City of Rome has some new rules on the subject.

Here are the details from our sister station, WIBX:

“The City of Rome has instituted new electronic waste recycling rules.They’ll no longer be accepting electronic waste for curbside pickup.

Residents and businesses bring their old computers, printers, televisions and mp3 players to the Rome City Yard on Race Street.

The hours are Monday through Saturday from 7:45 to 3:30.

A complete list of recyclable items is available at City Yard or by calling 339-7774.”
