The National Toy Hall of Fame in Rochester has announced it's candidates for the 2015 induction into the Hall of Fame. It looks like 70's and 80's toys are the main candidates this year.

According to UPI, The Hall of Fame usually inducts three toys each year. Last year's honors went to miniature green army men, the Rubik's Cube and bubbles. Toys are judged based on icon status, longevity, discovery and innovation. The new inductees will be announced on November 5th.

Here's the 2015 finalists: American Girl dolls, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, spinning tops, Twister, Wiffle Ball, Battleship, puppets, Jenga, coloring books, Playmobil, Super Soaker and scooters.
