It was just about a month ago that NASCAR suspended Stewart-Haas Racing's No. 41 driver due to domestic abuse charges. Kurt Busch has had his suspension lifted and will return to racing this week at Phoenix.

In an article on The Tennessean website, NASCAR executive vice-president Steve O'Donnell had this to say about the suspension lift,

The elimination of the possibility of criminal charges removed a significant impediment to Kurt Busch's return to full status as a NASCAR member. We therefore have decided to move him to indefinite probation and waive the Chase requirement.

Does this change the fact that Kurt Busch was still found to be responsible for some form of domestic abuse? We'll have to see how fans respond.
