With the new James Bond film, “Skyfall” due in theaters this Friday, and being the 50th anniversary of Bond films, I thought it would be fun to look back at the music that were a part of the movies.

* There were actually 24 Bond films, when you include 1983′s “Never Say Never Again”, which featured the title tune recorded by Lani Hall. However, this film was not produced by the Eon Production Company as all Bond films have been, and was produced by an independent producer based on the “Thunderball” script. Even though it starred Sean Connery, it was not considered one of the “official” Bond films.
