My Boy Toy Arrived (My New Lawnmower)
May 13, 2011 11:10 AM I am so excited (and relieved), as my new lawnmower was delivered to my home earlier this week. Yes, I guess lawnmowers and snow blowers are considered by some to be “Boy Toys”, but to me, they are just necessities.
(No, that’s not me in the photo, but I do admire the fact that he’s wearing a tie to mow…now that’s class).
Let’s face it, with all the rain we got the past few weeks, that lawn grows faster than a rumor around the workplace water cooler, so I need a reliable lawnmower. The one I have been limping along with, was on its last legs, and now that I have a brand-spanking new model, let the mowing begin. No, it’s not a rider, but it has everything from rear-wheel self propelled feature to electric start. Now, if only I could afford the gas!
