MWPI Arts Festival Gets Underway
A sure sign of the Frog Days of Summer is the return of the Munson Williams Proctors Arts Institute’s (MWPI) Arts Festival. It all begins today at continues through July 6th at the museum grounds on Genesee Street in downtown Utica.

The festival includes a sidewalk art show, an antique and classic car show, live music, children’s activities and daily events geared to the family. In addition to interesting paintings, photographs and sculptures on display, you’re likely to see some names you know on those works. My son had a painting in the show three years ago, and maybe your kids will have a work of art in the show as well.
Strolling around the museum in downtown Utica on a summer day or evening, you’re bound to bump into friends and neighbors. See you there!
