I was pretty excited when I saw the Anchorman II trailer come through the inbox yesterday. I absolutely love movies many people (Pollywog included) just don't get. They have no deep seeded meaning, no romantic conclusion that leaves everyone in tears. They're just for the laughs and giggles and "OMG" they just didn't go there. So here's my list not in any real particular order. I've watched them all a hundred times.

    Dodgeball A True Underdog Story

How can you not like a story where the good guys win in the end? Plus we have all known someone like White that needed to get his just rewards.

    Caddyshack

What an all star lineup of funny guys, Rodney Dangerfield, Bill Murray and Chevy Chase. Once again the good guys win at the end. And if you're a golfer you have used one of these Bill Murray lines at some point on the course.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

Will Ferrell and Ben Stiller perhaps are the Bill Murray and Chevy Chase of the 2000's. The fight scene between all the San Diego news teams is one of my favorite parts of the movie.

    Major League

For me, Bob Uecker was the highlight of this movie. His play by play of the games were priceless. And it's Charlie Sheen before he lost it. The sequels left a lot to be desired though.

    Doctor Detroit

This is the movie no one gets but me and an old friend everyone called "The Hippie." It was the first movie I ever watched on a VCR, back when you rented the movie AND the VCR.
