Movie About NY Prison Escape Coming? Who To Cast As The Prisoners

We're hearing that less than two weeks after the jail break at Clinton Correctional Facility in Northern New York, and with the two escapees still on the lamb, there is already an effort underway to make a movie about the ongoing breakout and search, TMZ reports.

Johnson Production Group -- an entertainment company deep into the world of 'Ripped from the Headlines' TV -- is going to film a show chronicling the escape, the manhunt and hopefully the capture from the vantage point of Joyce Mitchell, the woman who allegedly helped them bust out.

 

Portraying Richard Matt (left)...how about Paul Sorvino or Tom Sizemore?

And for the role of David Sweat, how about Edward Norton or Woody Harrelson? If Edward Norton doesn't seem to fit the bill, just picture him as he appeared in the 1998 film 'American History X'.
