If the menu at Tin Rooster, inside Turning Stone's Exit 33, wasn't mouth watering enough, the newest additions are to die for. Tad & I were invited to give it a try and who says no to food?

Our meal started with steamed clams in a white wine, butter sauce that just fell out of the shell. Tad didn't have much of chance. I polished those babies off in mere seconds.

Second up was Frito chili pie. I didn't think anyone could top by homemade chili but O.M.G. This is the best chili I've ever tasted and it has Fritos to add a little extra crunch.

Next up was a Canadian staple, with a twist; poutine. It had the traditional brown gravy and real cheese curd, not the shortcut of shredded mozzarella.  To make it unique, Tin Rooster adds beef rib to their poutine that melts in your mouth.

Despite being stuffed before dinner, the pick two platter that had ribs and brisket with hush puppies, corn bread and mac & cheese arrived next. Followed by fried chicken  cheese and garlic waffle with maple syrup and potato salad. In the words of Tadpole, "how can a waffle taste THAT good."

If that wasn't enough food, out came the largest baked potato you've ever seen with cheese, sour cream, brisket, fried onions, sweet and sticky bbq sauce, that tastes just as good the next day and my favorite part of the meal.

The pick two platter allows you to pick your meats and pick your sides. But be sure to pick up boxes because you'll have enough for lunch the next day.

You can even enjoy your meal from inside the airstream trailer that came from Kentucky while watching the Disco Saddle that contains over 10,000 hand cut crystal mirrors.

Don't miss the minor pan sinks that are replicas from the California Gold Rush in the bathrooms and the urinals that are kegs from Ireland in the men's room.
