Most Popular TV Game Shows

While I was working out at the gym Sunday I saw a profile of Alex Trebek, long time host of “Jeopardy”, on one of the TV channels. It got me thinking about game shows in general and, specifically, which ones were the best. There certainly have been plenty to choose from over the years, some long lasting like “The Price is Right”, “Wheel of Fortune” and the aforementioned “Jeopardy and some not so long lasting like “Haggis Baggis”. Which ones were the best?
The website TVPopCrunch.com came up with a list of the “25 Greatest Game Shows of All Time” and here are the top 5.
1—The Price is Right, hosted by Bill Cullen, Bob Barker and Drew carey
2—Jeopardy, hosted by Art Fleming and Alex Trebeck
3—The Amazing Race, hosted by Bill Keoghan
4—Survivor, hosted by Jeff Probst
5—Match Game, hosted by Gene Rayburn, Ross Shafer and Michael Burger
