More Winged Sprint Races Coming to Utica-Rome Speedway in 2013
Race fans will be excited to hear more Winged Sprint races are coming to the Utica Rome Speedway in the new year. The Speedway will add a night of 360 sprint races with one of the highest payouts on the East Coast.

Utica Rome Speedway already host three Empire Super Sprint Events every year. At the annual year end banquet, speedway officials announced they were moving the annual New Yorker 200 to labor day weekend, September 1 and 2. That left September 7th open for a new event that will become the sprint race.
The race will pay a hefty $7,000 to the winner with $500 going to drivers that race their way into the A-Main. It is by far the largest 360 sprint car purse ever paid by the speedway and it is expected to draw drivers from all the area’s major sanctioning bodies as well as the entire country.
September 8th will be used as a rain date for the event. Get more details from the Utica Rome Speedway here.
