More K-Mart Stores Closing in Central New York

Just when you think it can't get any worse for some stores, up jumps the devil.

According to Business Insider SEARS and K-MART will be closing more stores this year. Sears, which closed in Sangertown Square Mall in 2015, is closing 72 more stores in addition to the more than 180 closings that had already been announced this year. Most of the stores will close in September.

K-Mart closed their New Hartford location earlier this year and 4 more stores will close in Central New York in the following locations:

Liverpool, NY Store 3352
Malone, NY Store 3943
Cortland, NY Store 7134
Watertown, NY Store 7432

It's an end of an era for Sears and K-Mart.
