After a relatively dry and mild weekend in Central New York, it appears the bottom is about to drop out with more rain and flooding possible early this week. The National Weather Service is calling for another bout of thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening. These storms could include very heavy rain, gusty winds and hail. As a result of this next storm system, the weather service has issued a hazardous weather outlook.

According to the outlook, flash flooding is possible for the areas that do receive  torrential downpours.

July has been a very wet month for Upstate and Central New York. On July 1st, massive flooding prompted officials to close down several streets, roads and bridges in the three county area that included Oneida - Herkimer and Madison.
