Montgomery Gentry’s Take On the Blake Shelton, Ray Price Dust Up

While things have calmed down between Blake Shelton and Ray Price after Blake apologized for his controversial remarks regarding older country artists there is still some discussion going on amongst other artists. Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry expressed his opinion last week.
Troy spoke with Taste of Country Night’s Jeremy.
“Blake and [Montgomery Gentry], none of us out here hitting the road today would be around if it hadn’t been for our forefathers in country music who paved the way and got it all started for us,” Gentry says. “I have no ill words or bad words to say about the generation that I grew up on that helped me to get to where I’m at today.”

You’ve got that right, Troy. Troy and Eddie will be sharing the stage with one of those country legends, Willie Nelson, June 13-15 at the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain.
